PAScapes historian, Antanas Terleckas, has reached Marburg, where he will spend the next couple of weeks at the Herder institute researching landscape transformations in the Soviet and post-Soviet Baltic region.
Antanas Terleckas is the visiting scholar in the project ‘Subjectivities of Owning Land: Land Redistribution and Nation State in the Baltics Across the 20thcentury’, carried out by the Herder Institute and the University of Birmingham. During his stay, Antanas will also present his research on collectivization and landscape transformations in Soviet Lithuania to the project team.
