PAScapes invites to the international student seminar “Post-Authoritarian 90s and Beyond: Culture, Identity, Memory”, organised together with the University of Amsterdam Centre for Eastern European Studies.
Presentations will be delivered by Dr Tomas Vaiseta, “Can a Child Write a History? The 90s as Pop Culture and Identity”, Dr Marius Ėmužis, “Reforms, Integration and Poverty: What History of 1990s Lithuania Shall We Write?” and Isabel Ekua-Thompson, “Nationalism, Anti-Sovietism, and Transnationalism in the Soviet and the Post-Soviet: A Case Study of Estonian Subcultural Identity”.
The seminar will take place on January 28 at 3:00 PM, at Vilnius University, Faculty of History, Room 211.
